We collect and process data you provide to us when you use Octavia. This includes:
a. Personal data: This includes information you provide when you use Octavia, such as your name, email address, and other contact details. We may also collect demographic information such as your age, gender, and location to better understand our user base and improve our services.
b. Financial data: This includes information about your connected wallet or exchange, such as your holdings, your balance, historical trades. We use this data only to provide the services to you, and to better understand our user base and improve our services.
d. Usage data: This includes information about how you use Octavia, such as the time, frequency, and duration of your usage. We also collect data about the device, method and network you use to access Octavia, including your IP address, browser type, and operating system.
e. Content data: This includes information you provide through Octavia, such as the content of your chats. We use this data to provide and improve our services, but we do not use it to identify you personally.
f. Biometric data: We may collect biometric data you supply us, such as your voice, for the purposes of improving the security of our services we provide to you. Any biometric collection will be explicitly opt-in.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data for the following purposes:
a. To provide and improve Octavia: We use your data to provide the service, identify you as a user, and make improvements. This includes developing new features, researching effectiveness, and improving user experience.
b. For training and quality purposes: We use your data to train our AI models and improve the quality of our services. This helps us ensure that Octavia is learning and evolving in a way that is beneficial to our users.
c. To communicate with you: We use your data to communicate with you about Octavia, including updates, changes, and promotional information. We may also use your data to respond to your inquiries or feedback.
We may share your data with third parties under the following circumstances:
a. Service Providers: We may share your data with third-party service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as Microsoft Azure, OVH, Claude, OpenAI, and others of our choosing. These providers are contractually obligated to use your data only for the services we request and to maintain its confidentiality.
b. Legal Obligations: We may disclose your data if required by law, in response to legal proceedings, in the case of a merger, acquisition, or sale, or to protect our rights or the safety of the public or any person.
c. Consent: We may share your data with other third parties with your consent. We will always ask for your explicit consent before sharing your data in this way.
d. To Improve our services: We may share de-idenitifed portions of chats with trainers involved in our train-to-earn program. Trainers are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Please note that we do not sell user-identifiable data under any circumstances.
Your data is stored in secure facilities in the USA, Canada and UK. We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data that we collect and process about you. The measures we use are designed to provide a level of security appropriate to the risk of processing your personal data. This includes encryption, access controls, and physical security measures.
The legal basis for processing your personal data is your consent when you provide this to Octavia.
We will retain personal data until your account is deleted. You can delete your account by contacting us via Support Ticket or Email.
Automated Decision Making
Under the GDPR we are required to disclose that we make automated decisions entirely controlled by AI around research, trading, asset management, user responses and more. If you do not consent to this, do not use the services.
You have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
a. The right to access: You have the right to request access to your personal data.
b. The right to rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any inaccuracies in your personal data.
c. The right to erasure: You have the right to request that we delete your personal data.
d. The right to restrict processing: You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data.
e. The right to data portability: You have the right to request that we transfer your personal data to another organization or to you.
