Octavia Assistant

This segment of the privacy policy applies to the use of Octavia Assistant, our AI assistant that provides a range of services including but not limited to research, trading, and asset management. If you are conversing with octavia within a Discord or Telegram group, the Octavia for Groups section of this policy applies and takes precedence.

Data We Collect

We collect and process data you provide to us when you use Octavia. This includes:

a. Personal data: This includes information you provide when you use Octavia, such as your name, email address, and other contact details. We may also collect demographic information such as your age, gender, and location to better understand our user base and improve our services.

b. Financial data: This includes information about your connected wallet or exchange, such as your holdings, your balance, historical trades. We use this data only to provide the services to you, and to better understand our user base and improve our services.

d. Usage data: This includes information about how you use Octavia, such as the time, frequency, and duration of your usage. We also collect data about the device, method and network you use to access Octavia, including your IP address, browser type, and operating system.

e. Content data: This includes information you provide through Octavia, such as the content of your chats. We use this data to provide and improve our services, but we do not use it to identify you personally.

f. Biometric data: We may collect biometric data you supply us, such as your voice, for the purposes of improving the security of our services we provide to you. Any biometric collection will be explicitly opt-in.

b. Legal Obligations: We may disclose your data if required by law, in response to legal proceedings, in the case of a merger, acquisition, or sale, or to protect our rights or the safety of the public or any person.

d. To Improve our services: We may share de-idenitifed portions of chats with trainers involved in our train-to-earn program. Trainers are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Octavia for Groups

In addition to our individual user services, Octavia Labs offers "Octavia for Groups," a moderation product designed for use in group chats on platforms like Telegram and Discord servers. This section outlines how we handle personal data within these group settings.

Data Collection in Groups: When you participate in chats belonging to groups on Telegram or servers on Discord that utilize "Octavia for Groups," we collect personal data which may include the content of your messages. This data collection enables Octavia to provide moderation services and ensure a safe environment within these group chats.
Data Deletion Requests: If you wish to request the deletion of your personal data collected by "Octavia for Groups," please email us at [email protected] with your Discord and Telegram ID/username. We are committed to processing such requests in a timely manner to protect your privacy.
Data Storage and Encryption: Your messages within groups or servers using "Octavia for Groups" are stored encrypted at rest and are kept for no more than 30 days. This limited storage period allows server owners to review moderation decisions and verify that Octavia is functioning correctly within their groups. After this period, messages are securely deleted from our systems.
Anonymised Aggregated Analytics Data: To improve our services and provide insights to group administrators, we convert your messages into anonymised aggregated analytics data. This process ensures that while we can identify trends and usage patterns, individual messages cannot be traced back to you.
Data Protection Measures: Octavia Labs takes proactive steps to automatically filter out and protect any personal data that may be inadvertently shared within group chats. Our aim is to safeguard your privacy while enabling effective moderation and a positive group chat experience.
Data Selling and Access: We do not sell your data nor allow others to read your messages within servers or groups where "Octavia for Groups" operates. Our priority is to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of your personal data in accordance with our privacy commitments.

By participating in groups or servers that use "Octavia for Groups," you acknowledge and consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your data as described in this section. The legal basis for processing your personal data is your consent when you provide this to Octavia.
